Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services is seeking an Assistant Manager/Shift Supervisor to support the General Manager in daily operations across multiple brands in our travel plazas. The role offers entry-level management growth and exposure to a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities include leading teams, ensuring service standards, coaching supervisors, and safeguarding brand integrity.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent customer service abilities and positive attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong business sense
• Basic food safety understanding and practice
• Ability and willingness to lift/push objects weighing over 30 lbs

Responsibilities

• Deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and communicate business objectives
• Supervise non-management associates, assign tasks, coach and develop shift supervisors
• Capable of acting in the absence of the general manager
• Motivate staff during low morale periods
• Maintain brand standards and procedures to maximize brand/landlord/labor relations
• Ensure restaurant looks clean and inviting, adheres to standards and processes
• Manage cash handling and daily reporting as directed
• Address customer needs and build positive long-term relationships
• Perform inventory checks to maintain accurate data
