Job summary

Prime Storage Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to serve as the frontline representative at our self-storage facilities. You will handle rentals, customer inquiries, and day-to-day property operations while building strong customer relationships and driving sales.

The role requires 1-2 years in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, a High School Diploma or GED, and the ability to learn POS systems and Microsoft Outlook.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Technically savvy with the ability to learn new applications and Point of Sale systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is required.
• Physically able to perform maintenance duties such as walking the property, cleaning, weeding, and basic upkeep; able to operate power tools and change light bulbs.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Rent out self-storage units, parking spaces, and related products.
• Convert inquiries into rentals by phone or in person.
• Maintain accounts receivable through collections, posting payments, and processing.
• Deliver daily bank deposits accurately and on time.
• Upsell moving products and assist in unit sizing decisions.
• Greet customers promptly and professionally.
• Understand and sell features and benefits of the property.
• Resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure cleanliness and appearance meet company standards.
• Inspect the property, including lock checks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
