Job summary

Rent-A-Center in Union, South Carolina is seeking a Sales Assistant Manager to drive rental agreements, recruit new customers, and provide exceptional service in-store and at customers’ homes. A strong emphasis is placed on sales growth and delivering a premium customer experience.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail, customer service, or sales, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. The position includes weekly pay, full-time hours, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail/customer service, sales, or collections experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sales: grow revenue through completed rental agreements and prospecting new customers.
• Customer Service: provide friendly, top-notch experiences with a "+white glove" approach in stores and at customers' homes.
• Deliveries & Pickups: handle loading/unloading and installation of products safely and in compliance with procedures.
• Merchandising: keep the store inviting and organized for customers and coworkers.
