Job summary

Leslie’s Pool Supplies seeks an Assistant Manager to support store performance, customer service standards, and sales goals. You will train and develop the team, lead by example, and help ensure profitability and merchandising success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, payroll and expenses.
• Conduct water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure the team follows safety protocols.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store, including daily bank deposits.
