Leslie’s pool supplies in the United States seeks an Assistant Manager to support store performance, uphold customer service standards, sales plans, profitability and merchandising objectives.

You will learn best practices, train and develop the team, and lead by example to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or currently attending high school.
• A valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, profit margins, payroll and expenses.
• Perform water analysis and basic repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by the team.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store duties including daily bank deposits.
