Job summary

Leslie’s Pool Supplies seeks an Assistant Manager to support store performance, uphold customer service standards, sales plans, profitability, and merchandising objectives. You will train and develop staff and lead by example to inspire excellent service.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the General Manager on store operations, analyzing P&L, driving sales, and ensuring safety. A path for advancement and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• 1 year of customer service experience or retail experience
• Experience managing/leading a team
• Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager on store operations, sales plans, profit margins, payroll and controllable expenses (P&L).
• Water analysis and assist with mechanical repairs
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts
• Ensure the team follows all safety protocols
• Identify and recruit new team members
• Maintain a welcoming store environment
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control
• Open/close store; may include daily bank deposits
