Job summary

Leslie’s pool supplies is the world’s largest retailer of swimming pool supplies. Leslie’s seeks an Assistant Manager to support store performance, customer service standards, sales plans and profitability. You will train and develop the team and lead by example to deliver excellent service.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 /Hourly. Compensation within range determined by education, experience and market data. Growth opportunities and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in retail.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent or currently in school.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service or retail experience.
• Experience leading a team or supervising others.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, and expenses.
• Conduct water analysis and basic repairs as needed.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed by the team.
• Identify and recruit new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store duties including daily deposits.
