Job summary

Leslie’s is seeking an Assistant Manager in the United States. You will support store performance by upholding customer service, sales plans, profitability, and merchandising goals while training and developing the team.

You’ll lead by example, ensuring safety, operations, and a welcoming environment for guests. The role emphasizes learning best practices, collaborating with the General Manager, and driving both commercial and residential sales, with opportunities for growth and advancement

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or currently attending High School.
• A valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
• 1 year of customer service or retail experience.
• Experience managing/leading a team.
• Ability to achieve placement in the succession program.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computers.
• Ability to complete required training within two months of hire.
• The ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the General Manager to learn store operations, sales plans, and expenses.
• Conduct water analysis and mechanical repairs.
• Increase commercial and residential sales and customer counts.
• Ensure team follows safety protocols.
• Identify new talent to join the team.
• Maintain a welcoming store environment.
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
• Open and close store; handle daily bank deposits.
