Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Kent, WA is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing drive-in operations and training staff. This role focuses on delivering quality food in a clean, safe environment and ensuring a positive guest experience.

The ideal candidate has restaurant management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. Full-time position with opportunities for bonuses after 12 months and benefits eligibility from month one.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy once given directions; ability to multi-task and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to ensure all aspects of food service meet standards
• Adheres to and monitors employee compliance with employee handbook and policies
• Performs opening and/or closing duties
• Monitors staffing, inventory, and food cost levels; completes weekly inventory
• Assists in administrative duties including maintaining files and records
• Reinforces customer service mentality and ensures employees focus on guests
• Responds to guest requests and assists in resolving complaints
