Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Fargo, ND is seeking Apprentices who aspire to become General Managers. You will learn to run day-to-day operations, hire and train staff, and deliver a Guest Obsessed experience.

You’ll gain hands-on leadership, schedule management, P&L basics, sales forecasting, and recruiting while supporting a fast-paced restaurant team. The role requires long hours, including evenings and weekends, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Guest obsession and hospitality focus are essential.
• Strong leadership and team-development skills.
• Desire to grow into General Manager.
• Experience in restaurant management preferred (scheduling, P&L, recruiting, food safety).
• Must be able to work 50-hour weeks including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Be guest obsessed – uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality.
• Act as the leader on duty, ensuring speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest experience.
• Train and develop crew members utilizing Chipotle’s training tools and resources.
• Ensure digital orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Learn to run the day-to-day operational business of your restaurant (scheduling, P&L management, sales-forecasting, recruiting).
• Ensure the dining room remains clean and the restaurant is always guest-ready.
• Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards.
• Work a standard 50-hour workweek, including evenings and weekends.
