Job summary

Jockey is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager for our St. Augustine, FL location. You will lead the team as Manager on Duty, driving sales, customer service, and profitability while mentoring staff and upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include recruiting, training, coaching, and analyzing performance metrics to maintain high engagement and store execution. This role requires flexibility for shifts and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School degree or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of successful management experience in a retail environment.
• Strong selling experience required with the proven ability to meet or exceed performance standards.
• Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience in attracting, developing and retaining strong talent.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Flexibility to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business dictates.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in store operations and guest service.
• Recruit, select, train, coach and develop store associates.
• Support onboarding and development of new hires.
• Lead coaching to build a high-performing sales team.
• Monitor KPIs to drive profitability and service.
• Maintain operational standards: visuals, security, inventory, HR, policies.
• Support corporate programs including rewards and visuals.
