Job summary

Jockey International Global Inc. in St. Augustine, FL is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to lead store operations as Manager on Duty. You will drive sales, customer service, merchandising, and team development while managing open/close procedures and store administration.

The role requires 1-3 years of retail management experience, strong communication and leadership, and flexibility to cover shifts including weekends. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of successful management experience in a retail environment.
• Strong selling experience and ability to meet/exceed performance standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to attract, develop and retain strong talent.
• Flexibility to work opening/closing shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.
• Strong working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate leadership reflecting Jockey's values and culture.
• Lead and train a team of store associates and onboard new hires.
• Drive sales, customer service, merchandising and inventory control.
• Review performance metrics to improve profitability and service.
• Execute store opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
