SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily operations of the drive-in restaurant. You will help train and coach staff, supervise Carhops and team members, and ensure service quality, safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or 1 year of entry-level retail management experience.
• Ability to manage shifts without supervision and multi-task effectively.
• Strong communication, math, reading and computer skills.
• Willingness to follow directions and work autonomously with accountability.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Adherence to SONIC appearance, uniform and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in operations.
• Train and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to meet service standards.
• Open and/or close the restaurant as needed.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost control; complete weekly inventory.
• Maintain administrative records and documentation; support guest requests and resolve complaints.
