Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the restaurant operations, lead a strong team, and deliver a welcoming guest experience. This non-exempt role requires a minimum of 50 hours per week, serves Safe Certified, and offers a path for career growth within a family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Must be able to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• This non-exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the restaurant and build a strong team delivering great food and friendly service.
• Ensure health and safety standards, manage cash handling, and maintain POS systems.
