Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, reinforce our CORE values, and build a strong team that delivers great food and a friendly guest experience. You will manage scheduling, training, and performance, ensure health and safety, and drive profitability while upholding cash handling and cost controls.

This non-exempt role requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in restaurant or retail, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L, recruiting, and training.
• Proven hiring and retention track record.
• Willing to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays; 50 hours weekly.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and build a strong team.
• Ensure fast, friendly service and quality food.
• Monitor costs, labor, inventory, and waste.
• Coach and develop team; enforce safety and cash handling policies.
• Represent Border Foods in customer issues and maintain POS system.
