Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and develop a high-performing team. You will drive guest satisfaction, manage team performance, and uphold brand standards while ensuring safe, efficient service.

You will oversee hiring, training, and scheduling, with a focus on profitability and guest experience. This non-exempt role requires flexibility, leadership, and a commitment to Border Foods’ core values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• This non-exempt management position is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee restaurant operations and build a strong, capable team.
• Drive fast, friendly service and a quality guest experience.
• Manage cash handling, P&L awareness, and inventory controls.
• Recruit, train, and develop Team Members for growth.
• Ensure health, safety, and compliance with all laws and brand standards.
