Job summary

Border Foods LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee restaurant operations and build a strong, capable team that delivers great food and a friendly guest experience. You will uphold our core values and drive performance through leadership, coaching, and hands-on management.

The role requires at least one year in restaurant/retail, experience with P&L, recruiting, and training, and a commitment to long hours as needed. This non-exempt position includes bonus potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience, or combined experience and education.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Ability to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• ServeSafe Certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and build a strong team that consistently provides customers with great food and a friendly experience.

• Drive fast and friendly service and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members.
• Manage scheduling, labor, inventory, and loss prevention while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.
