Job summary

Zax LLC in Mauldin, SC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure guest experiences meet standards, and coach a team to deliver quality service.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, and enforcing policies while maintaining safety and compliance across shifts. Eligible for a $1,500 training completion bonus and benefits with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Open availability to work 5 days and 32–48 hours per week.
• Background check completion required.
• Must possess leadership qualities, organizational skills, and ability to interact cooperatively with others.
• Restaurant management experience (1–3 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete all training requirements including the Assistant Manager Development Plan and certifications.
• Enhance guest experiences by ensuring team members satisfy and exceed guest expectations.
• Plan and delegate shift assignments and communicate expectations.
• Supervise, coach, and develop team members to achieve quarterly goals.
• Maintain service, product quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Handle customer and team member concerns in a timely, friendly manner.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, laws, and company policies.
