Sizzling Platter LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily restaurant operations and guide front- and back-of-house teams. The role involves coaching staff, ensuring quality and safety, and delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.

This hourly, non-exempt position requires leadership, reliable teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant leadership experience preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills required.
• Ability to train and onboard new team members.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Lead shifts by directing team members and ensuring efficient workflow.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to Crew Members and Shift Leads.
• Deliver and model excellent guest service; resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of team members.
• Ensure product quality, food safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and reporting.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management and ordering.
• Step into front-of-house and back-of-house roles as needed to meet business needs.
• Drive team performance, accountability, and operational consistency.
