Job summary

Thacher Restaurant Group in Auburn, WA is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations alongside the General Manager, coach Shift Leaders, and deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You will help build a high-performing team, maintain food safety and standards, participate in hiring and onboarding, and drive profitability through strong execution while growing toward future General Manager opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations alongside the General Manager.
• Coach, develop, and support Shift Leaders and team members.
• Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
• Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards are consistently met.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed to keep teams and guests safe.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and team development.
• Monitor labor, sales, inventory, and controllable costs.
• Support restaurant profitability through strong operational execution.
• Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and brand standards are followed.
• Lead by example and create a positive, inclusive team culture.
• Step into any position as needed to support restaurant success.
