World Market is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our Fredericksburg store. You will partner with the Store Manager to lead a high-performance team, uphold brand standards, and drive daily operations with a customer-first approach.

You will recruit and develop staff, coach associates, analyze trends, and ensure safety and loss-prevention compliance while delivering strong sales results.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail environment preferred.
• Proven ability to lead a team, drive sales, and uphold store standards.
• Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture with engagement, loyalty initiatives, visual standards, and brand values.
• Analyze business trends using available reporting to identify opportunities and take action.
• Plan for and execute daily business tasks in the Store Manager's absence.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team through training and recognition.
• Utilize company tools to validate team execution of key business functions.
• Support loss prevention policies and inventory management initiatives.
• Maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training and accountability.
