Job summary

The Escape Game in Downtown Austin is seeking an Assistant Manager in training to support the General Manager and lead a team delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You will help execute initiatives, coach staff, and uphold TE G's standards, all while adapting to a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment. This role includes nights, weekends, and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work at least 2 weekend shifts and 2 night shifts per week.
• Flexible availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to perform physical tasks including cleaning, painting, standing, lifting 30–40 lbs.
• Adhere to The Escape Game's Uniform Standards.
• Strong guest-service orientation and teamwork.

THE ROLE:

Assistant Managers in training serve and support their GM by executing their initiatives, championing TEG's values, and coaching my team to uphold TEG standards through continuous, gracious pressure. They are a humble, teachable trainee who is eager to learn from and apply feedback from their GM and Region Leader.

REQUIREMENTS

• Required to work at least 2 weekend shifts and 2 night shifts per week unless requested off in writing through email and TEG's timekeeping software at least two weeks in advance.
• Flexible availability. This role often works nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Must be able to handle physical activity as it relates to the job, such as deep cleaning, painting, standing, crawling, bending, lifting 30-40 lbs, and minor game repairs.
• Align with TEG's Uniform Standards.
