Job summary

Palm Beach Tan in Collierville, TN, is seeking a Store Manager-in-Training or Assistant Manager to lead our tanning and wellness team. Starting pay is $12.50 per hour plus commission, with a structured 5-week manager-training course that includes performance metrics.

You will recruit, interview, hire, and develop staff, create a positive work environment, and drive sales while ensuring compliance with safety and operations standards. Training and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ability to effectively motivate others.
• Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff by interviewing, hiring, and developing employees.
• Create a positive, respectful environment for employees and customers.
• Meet self-performance metrics and help develop employees to meet their metrics.
• Analyze daily sales information to maximize sales.
• Meet banking, safety, operations and legal requirements.
• Control expenses: labor, inventory and maintenance.
• Assign, manage, and follow up on daily tasks to keep store clean, stocked and organized.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
