Job summary

Wing Stop in the United States is seeking an assistant manager to oversee and coordinate with the store manager the planning, organizing, training, and leadership needed to achieve sales, cost, employee retention, guest service, and satisfaction goals.

Essential duties include enforcing policies, scheduling and covering shifts, managing deliveries and inventory, inspecting equipment, and maintaining temperature logs and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines & training programs
• Achieve company objectives in service quality and appearance of the facility through training of employees while creating a positive working environment
• Meet scheduling requirements, cover all shifts where it is needed to ensure operations go undisturbed
• Ensure weekly truck deliveries are done by the scheduled times, control costs by ordering what is needed
• Inspect equipment daily and maintain the temperature log
• Inspect all products to ensure correct unit count and receiving policies are followed
• Be prepared for QSC ensuring cleanliness, procedures and equipment meet standards

Responsibilities

• Assist guests to ensure they feel welcome and receive responsive, friendly service
• Assist with preparing and packaging all orders according to Wing Stop standards
• Check cashiers follow corporate guidelines and surveys
• Oversee cash handling and deposits accuracy
• Make employee assessments with the store manager
• Hold crew accountable for cleaning and damages
• Enforce company policies and corrective actions as needed
• Supervise shift leaders to follow opening/closing procedures
• Ensure shift leaders meet order accuracy and guest service goals
• Manage inventory and chicken counts and waste with shift leaders
• Maintain professional, safe and orderly work environment
• Address customer complaints effectively and escalate when needed
