GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Richmond, VA store. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach the team, and help hire/train a high-performing crew focused on customer service and store success.

This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, and involves standing in fast-paced retail environments while maintaining cleanliness, stock levels, and smooth daily operations. Growth opportunities exist to advance to store management.

Qualifications

• Age 21+ and able to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Excellent English communication and basic math skills.
• Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for deposits.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide leadership feedback to drive excellence.
