Job summary

GPM Investments, fas mart in Charlottesville, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, ensuring great guest service and sales on every shift.

You will support the Store Manager, handle cash, supervise a team, manage inventory, and ensure a clean, safe store environment. Open availability, weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends/holidays and second/third shifts.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with insurance for deposits.
• Ability to perform cleaning, stocking, and basic POS tasks.
• Must be 21+ years old and proficient in English with basic math.
• Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with daily operations.
• Operate the register with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, orders, merchandising, and cash deposits.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and schedule coverage.
