Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in the Piedmont area. You will support the Store Manager, handle cash at the register, and lead a team to deliver excellent customer service and store performance on weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts.

You will coach staff, assist in hiring and training, manage schedules, and ensure inventory and merchandising are up to standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Must have (or be able to obtain) a Food Safety Certification.
• Open availability including weekends, holidays, and second or third shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and facilities.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store finances.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned.
