Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to keep our high-energy convenience store running smoothly on a busy shift. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, assist customers, and lead a team focused on service and sales.

This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to work second or third shifts in a fast-paced retail environment. A Food Safety Certification is preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Open availability required, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work second or third shifts.
• Food safety certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and store financial oversight.
