Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Roan Mountain, TN convenience store. You will support the Store Manager with daily operations, assist customers, and help keep the store energized on every shift.

The role requires dependable leadership, open availability for weekends and holidays, and a willingness to work second or third shifts. Training and growth into store management are available, with weekly pay and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Customer service and cashier experience is required.
• Ability to coach and motivate a team on upselling and promotions.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in daily operations.
• Run the register, assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate the team to upsell.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as manager when the Store Manager is away.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and facilities.
• Create and manage team schedules.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits.
• Provide leadership to drive store success.
• Other duties as assigned.
