Job summary

GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for a fast-paced Scotchman convenience store in Roan Mountain, TN. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach staff, and lead operations across shifts to keep the store energized and customer-focused.

Open availability, strong customer service, and a willingness to learn Topshelf Manager Training are essential. Excellent growth opportunities and weekly pay with bonus potential are available.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willing to learn Topshelf Manager Training in Tennessee.
• Must have (or obtain) Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Act as manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean store and fuel pumps, including restrooms and trash areas.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
