Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a fast-paced convenience store in The Colony, TX. You will support the Store Manager, handle register duties, and coach a team to deliver exceptional customer service.

Open availability is essential, including weekends and holidays. You will participate in hiring, training, and leading a team, while managing inventory, cash handling, and store appearance to ensure strong performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Physical tasks include cleaning restrooms, taking out trash, and maintaining exterior areas.
• Minimum age requirement is 21+.
• Proficient English communication and basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and grow into leadership roles.
• Must obtain/maintain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Handle daily cash, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
