Job summary

Ayvaz Pizza in Houston seeks a Restaurant Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations and deliver friendly, prompt service with great food in a clean, inviting environment.

You will work closely with the General Manager and district leaders to uphold standards, coach staff, and ensure smooth shifts. The ideal candidate has 1 year in a similar role, strong leadership and customer-service focus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year Assistant Manager experience in high-volume food service.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Valid Driver's License in good standing and access to private transportation.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing restaurant's daily operations
• Maintain day-to-day financial controls
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Interview, hire, train and orientate team
• Oversee coaching, counseling, and developing staff and managing team relations.
• Exercise proper food handling, equipment maintenance and facility management
