Job summary

GPM Investments seeks an Assistant Manager for Store 4456 in Idabel, OK. The role supports the Store Manager, runs registers, and leads a team to provide fast, friendly service on weekends and holidays, with open availability for second or third shifts.

You'll manage inventory, scheduling, and merchandising, handle deposits, and drive upsells and promotions. Benefits include weekly pay, bonus potential, 401(k), paid time off, and health coverage; a $1000 sign-on bonus is offered after six months.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• 21+ years old minimum.
• Proficient in English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
