Job summary

GPM Investments is hiring an Assistant Manager for Store 4352 in Shawnee, OK. The role requires open availability, weekend and holiday shifts, and strong leadership to run daily operations at a high-energy convenience store.

You will support the Store Manager, oversee cash handling, schedule staff, and uphold customer service standards while driving sales and promotions. The position includes weekly pay, bonus potential, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Open Availability for weekends, holidays and second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with license, vehicle and insurance for bank deposits.
• Physically capable of cleaning, trash, and outdoor areas around pumps.
• Minimum age 21 years or older.
• Proficient English communication and basic math.
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail enviroment.
• Must have or be able to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in all aspects of day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed, accuracy, and a great attitude.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service and store success.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep the store fully stocked.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms, trash areas, and fuel pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules to ensure full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling, deposits, and oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership that motivates your team to excel.
• Other duties as assigned
