Job summary

GPM Investments' Scotchman store in Charleston, SC is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily operations, support the Store Manager, and ensure excellent customer service on all shifts.

Open availability is required, along with reliable transportation and a Food Safety Certification. Pay ranges from $16.50 to $18.50 per hour with weekly pay, a sign-on bonus, 401(k), PTO, health insurance, and growth opportunities into a Store Manager role.

Qualifications

• Open availability to weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Proficient in English with basic math.
• Must obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when needed.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including pumps and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Handle daily cash deposits and store financials.
• Provide leadership to motivate the team to excel.
