Planet Fitness Salem is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee daily gym operations and ensure a high-quality, Judgment Free Zone® experience for members. The role includes leading staff, managing front desk activities, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills, with prior management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing gym operations to ensure a premier member experience.
• Lead recruitment, training and development of staff.
• Maintain welcoming atmosphere for members and guests; ensure top service standards.
• Provide backup support to Club Manager and supervise staff scheduling.
• Oversee front desk operations, member check-in, tours and sign-ups.
• Monitor cleanliness and maintenance of facility and order supplies within budget.
• Track weekly/monthly/annual statistics and reports.
