SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in daily drive-in operations and staff leadership. You will train and guide team members to deliver quality food in a clean, safe environment and to ensure a consistently positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.
• Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, monitor and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure food service meets standards.
• Adhere to employee handbook and practices.
• Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitor staffing levels, inventory and food cost control.
• Complete weekly inventory as needed.
• Assist in administrative duties and record-keeping.
• Reinforce customer service focus to guests.
• Handle guest requests promptly and resolve complaints.
