Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in day-to-day drive-in operations. You will train and supervise Team Members, Carhops, and Skating Carhops, enforce standards, and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient dining experience for guests.

This role requires flexible hours, strong leadership, and the ability to multi-task, with proven restaurant management experience or equivalent retail leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant management preferred.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and basic math/computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task and solve problems autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Direct staffing and scheduling to meet service standards.
• Ensure compliance with employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties as needed.
• Monitor staffing, inventory and food cost; adjust accordingly.
• Complete weekly inventory and maintain documentation.
• Foster customer service focus and guest satisfaction.
