Job summary

Border Foods LLC, a large Taco Bell franchisee, seeks an Assistant Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and cultivate a high-performing team. The role emphasizes upholding core values and delivering excellent guest experiences.

You will drive staffing, training, scheduling, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and service standards while managing costs and performance. This is a non-exempt management position with substantial growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year restaurant or retail experience.
• Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
• Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
• Must be able to work early morning, evenings, late night, weekends, and some holidays.
• Non-exempt management position, minimum 50 hours per week.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the restaurant and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Build and lead a strong, capable team.

• Schedule staff and monitor performance to meet standards.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Provide coaching and development to Team Members and address issues promptly.
