Job summary

The Dairy Queen restaurant in Louisville, KY seeks an experienced Assistant Manager to support daily operations and deliver quality customer service, following Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen standards.

You will assist with and learn restaurant management responsibilities, coordinate shifts, monitor food safety, and lead team members to ensure a positive guest experience across busy evenings and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a restaurant Shift Manager or similar role.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Possession of Food Handler’s Permit and/or ServSafe Certification (where required).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Position Overview

The Restaurant Assistant Manager provides quality customer service and food products using standards set by Fourteen Foods and International Dairy Queen to enhance the customer’s visit, while assisting with and learning restaurant management responsibilities.

Assistant Manager Qualifications

• 2+ years previous experience as a restaurant Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar food service management role.
