Job summary

Tipton Asset Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated Assistant Maintenance Technician to keep the apartment community well-maintained and attractive for current and prospective residents. You will handle day-to-day maintenance tasks and respond to emergencies as on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities include grounds work, basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance, plus using your own tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Multifamily experience and HVAC certification required.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff.
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Completing grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative.

The Job: Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
