Job summary

Tipton Asset Group, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician in Dallas, TX to maintain the upkeep and appearance of our apartment community for current and prospective residents.

Responsibilities include on-call for 24-hour emergencies, grounds work, and a variety of maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and preventative care). Strong HVAC knowledge and the use of your own tools are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Multi-family experience and HVAC certification required.
• Own tools required.
• Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents and staff.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the apartment complex maintenance and appearance daily.
• Respond to 24-hour maintenance emergencies on-call.
• Perform grounds work including trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.

Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details:

Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Multi-family experience and HVAC certification required
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
