Job summary

Tipton Asset Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician in Richardson, TX to maintain the apartment complex and its appearance for residents and prospects. You’ll be part of a team handling day-to-day maintenance and general upkeep, responding to emergencies and supporting various trades.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least three years of experience with HVAC certification, and the ability to use your own tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• AT least 3 years of maintenance experience and HVAC certification.
• Provide/use of own tools.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Perform grounds work: trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting and preventative maintenance.

What do we need you to do? Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents.

The Job: Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details: Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Have at least three years of experience and HVAC certification
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
