Job summary

The Tipton Group. in Dallas, TX is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to maintain the apartment complex and ensure a clean, functional living environment for residents.

You will handle day-to-day maintenance, respond to on-call emergencies, perform grounds work, and assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative tasks, while upholding professional conduct with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification required.
• Provide/use of own tools.

Responsibilities

• Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Perform grounds work such as trash pickup and light landscaping.
• Assist with maintenance tasks: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative maintenance.

Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details:

Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Multi-family experience and HVAC certification required
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
