Job summary

Tipton Asset Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities in Richardson, TX. You will handle day-to-day upkeep, respond to emergencies, and assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry and preventive maintenance.

The role requires an HVAC certification, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to bring your own tools. A team-oriented approach and professional conduct with residents are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have an HVAC certification.
• At least 3 years of maintenance experience.
• Provide and use your own hand tools as needed.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• On-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
• Perform grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.

What do we need you to do? Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of the apartment complex for current and prospective residents.

The Job: Our maintenance professionals are an integral part of keeping our residents satisfied and are responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community. Specific responsibilities include:

• Being on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies
• Completing grounds work such as: trash pick-up and light landscaping
• Assisting with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative

The Details: Our Assistant Maintenance Technicians should meet the following criteria:

• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Have at least three years of experience and HVAC certification
• Provide/use of own tools
• Must be able to maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
• Possess basic knowledge of the following: HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
