Avenue5 Residential, LLC Career Center in Glendale is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at the assigned property and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

You will perform repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds, maintain safety standards, manage on-site emergencies, mentor the maintenance team, and contribute to resident satisfaction and property upkeep.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of experience in the property management industry or related field.
• Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs across electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, and grounds per state guidelines.
• Conduct general carpentry tasks such as wall repairs, cabinet replacement, and door/lock work.
• Execute preventative maintenance including painting, lighting, sprinkler systems, and elevator maintenance.
• Maintain work orders ensuring timely completion and resident satisfaction.
• Daily property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness and identify needed repairs.
• Assist with emergencies (snow, fires, floods) and on-call rotations.
• Communicate issues to maintenance supervisor and property manager promptly.
• Promote safety and risk management per rules and regulations.
• Mentor maintenance team and model professional conduct.
• Adhere to all aspects of the risk management program.
