Job summary

Morgan Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for our Austin, TX community. You will manage building systems, safety, and preventative maintenance to keep our properties up to standard.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance experience in property management, with working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, and energy management. EPA certification and CPO are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years: Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, energy management systems, EPA cert, and CPO are required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN's Maintenance, Emergency Procedures, Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations, manuals along with the Team Member Handbook.
• Monitor building systems, fire, electrical, security, elevators, etc. Report all unsafe areas to Lead Maintenance.
• Constantly inspect the community and report hazards to the Lead Maintenance.
• Conduct all work in compliance with OSHA and MORGAN Operations manual.
• Maintain a workplace that adheres to safety standards.
• Assist preventive maintenance for HVAC systems, lighting, pools, and interiors/exteriors.
• Respond to service requests within 24 hours and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies in line with budget.
• Build relationships with associates across departments.
