Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking an entry-level production assistant to support machine operators in a packaging environment. You will help with setup, operation, and cleanup while striving to improve efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities include following GMPs, maintaining safety and housekeeping, and cross-training on other machines to support plant workflow. Overtime may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Packaging environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Machine Operator and maximize equipment utilization.
• Set up, operate, and clean up production machines; follow safety rules.
• Identify improvements to reduce downtime and improve setup times.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work areas; report hazards.
• Cross-train on other machines and roles in the plant.
• Complete accurate production and maintenance reports; submit promptly.
• Work overtime as needed and support plant growth.
