The position requires a high school diploma or GED and 6 months of manufacturing experience; prior packaging industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months' experience in some type of manufacturing operation.
• Prior work experience in the packaging industry; paper, plastics, converting.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Work safely at all times and comply with Pratt Industries safety rules and procedures.
• Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Processes) and quality procedures to prevent bad quality from leaving the facility.
• Maximize equipment utilization and improve setup times and downtime daily while maintaining quality.
• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards; report maintenance needs and participate in plant safety activities.
• Be flexible to switch duties and learn other positions to support plant growth and staffing.
