Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Machine Operator to support presses, perform setup, and assist with running and cleaning activities. The role offers growth potential and cross-training opportunities across multiple presses.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and prefer experience in corrugated production, with math and measurement skills. Lift Truck License may be required; OSHA safety practices apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior experience in the corrugated industry preferred.
• 6 months’ experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper preferred.
• 6 months’ experience in the Press and Finishing Departments preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Assist operator on presses including setup, operation, cleanup, and improvements.
• Set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine according to setup techniques.
• Monitor board quality and report defects to keep the machine running.
• Cross-train on other machines and move up the line to operator.
• Complete reports accurately and timely.
